Our Process

Welcome to CWA!

Our primary service is assisting our clients in reaching their financial goals. We strive to aide our clients by not only meeting expectations, but by exceeding them.


The initial step is meeting (phone or in person) with a Cola Wealth advisor to fill out a confidential profile. It will give us a glimpse of your financial and personal goals to aid in preparation for a consultation.


All meetings are no cost and no obligation and can be conducted as either a phone or an in-office appointment. During our initial meeting you will be able to ask as many questions as you would like about CWA. We will also get to know you, your family and your family situation. Once the initial consultation is scheduled, we will send you a confirmation email and a list of documents to bring. A list is also provided below:

Documents to bring to your first appointment:
1. Net worth statement
2. Most recent tax return
3. Statements (Brokerage, 401k, Life Insurance, etc)
4. Copy of will or trust.

We have both a fee based and a commission based approach. The best option is based on your situation, your investment objectives and the vehicle(s) that will best suit those objectives. We do not charge by the hour. Therefore, there will be no fees associated with the consultation process. Any fee structures will be discussed at the appointment if applicable to your situation.

After the complimentary consultation meeting, we will then schedule a proposal appointment and perform a thorough analysis of your overall financial picture. During our proposal meeting we will present you with a tailor-made “plan of action” fit to your goals and objectives.

When you decide to have your investments under our direct management, we will take every step to ensure that the account(s) transition to CWA is as seamless as possible. Once all the required paperwork is signed we will take care of the rest.

After the transition is completed, alongside you, your investment plan will be implemented. We will ensure that you are comfortable with your new statements. We will also offer the following complimentary services:

  • Online access to view all of your accounts under our management.
  • The ability to aggregate all of your outside accounts into our reporting system.
  • E-delivery of statements and communications if preferable
  • Mobile app
